Who is Marion Harris and why did I record this album? Although largely forgotten to today’s audiences, Marion was one of the first internationally famous singers, nicknamed Queen of the Blues. I recorded original versions of her songs to tell her story (one day I hope to shoot a short film of her life) – I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
